Behind the Music

I wrote the lyrics to this song during my morning commute. Traffic is usually good for introspection. I get to thinkin', and hummin', and the next thing I know, I'm scribbling lyrics on the back of gas receipts. Well, this song is another one of those empowerment tools. My music is cheap therapy, in essence. You go round and round with the same person, whom you know isn't good enough for you, whom you know doesn't deserve you, whom you know you won't end up with, but whom you still love with all your heart. This song claims I'm gonna' make a clean break... this time. Yea, right. It sounds good though, doesn't it?
