Behind the Music I love my whiskey. I love my men. Sometimes the similarities are just a little too much to ignore. I wrote the chorus to this song in early 2002 while drinkin' whiskey in a bar with my friend Mikey. I just started singing, and then I wrote it down. But somehow when I tried to work on the song sober, I couldn't get any further, so I set it aside. On Christmas day 2003, the family festivities were getting a little irritating, and it put me in the mindset I needed to finish the tune. I'd like to dedicate this to all my fellow Whiskey girls. And it goes a little somethin' like this...
